  • Donors who contribute 5% or more:
US Department of State: The US Department of State is a donor. The Department of State is already paying for the services of the Executive Director as an in-kind contribution. This includes administrative and other costs associated with that functions. In addition, the Department has contributed the full time services of an intern to the project, with the administration costs associated with that function. The value of this contribution is in excess of $200,000. In addition, the Department is considering a pledge $150,000 of direct financial aid to the UN to conduct research on the GDIN Information Facilitator function (see the appropriate web site).

AmTech: Amtech is also a donor, having provided as a donation the services of a Web expert, who maintains the web site, as well as the use of a server and the purchase of the domain. This is intended to be a temporary donation and a start up assistance to GDIN.

Australia: Australia is a donor, as they hosted GDIN2001 and its costs.

Smaller in-kind donations that do not count to the level of Voting Donor have been made by the United States Institute for Peace (which has allowed GDIN to use space).
